Classic Snakes io is a fun free to play online multiplayer io game played in your web browser. Compete with other players to top the leaderboards but watch out for other snakes!

How to Play

In Classic Snakes io you control a snake in a multiplayer environment. The goal of the game is to collect items to gain points and grow larger. Before starting the game, you can change the color of your snake by clicking Snakes at the title screen. You can also enter a name that will be visible on the in-game leaderboard. Once you've chosen your name and color, click Play to begin the game.

The only way to die in Classic Snakes io is by running into another player's snake. Use the map on the bottom left of the screen to see where other players are located. As your snake grows, it becomes easier to trap other players with your snake. There is no penalty for running into yourself or hitting the walls. Also, look out for power-up items that grant special abilities for a short time.
