Figlings Royale is a single-player tactical auto-battler where you build a tiny squad, place it on a tabletop board and let the fight play out automatically. It is pretty close to the old Clash Mini idea, which is clearly the point.

How to play

A match in Figlings Royale lasts up to five rounds. You take one hero and five figlings into the match, then draw three cards each round and spend mana to place units. Position matters more than it first looks: tanks belong where they can take pressure, while ranged units make more sense behind them. Play the same figling again and it gains a star plus one of three upgrades. The hero can also level up once during a match and unlock its special power.

Tips

• Put tougher units in front and ranged figlings behind them
• Two or four figlings of the same class activate a team bonus
• Do not spend every slot randomly; class combos are usually more useful than a messy build
