Mekkor io is a solo browser mecha roguelite RPG where you push a custom MEK through machine-filled rooms, grab useful parts and rebuild your setup between runs.
How to play
The basic loop in Mekkor io is pretty clear once the first pile of menus stops looking scary. Move through rooms, deal with rogue machines and collect the KORs and other parts they leave behind. Salvaged gear is not just loot for a counter. It goes back into forging new MEKs, changing their specs and fitting Hardware and chips. That build work matters because the run eventually takes you toward the biome boss.
The current alpha starts with the first of five planned biomes and it is meant to be rough early. There are quite a few skills and upgrade choices, so trying to understand every stat before moving is mostly pointless. Test a setup, see what actually helps and adjust after the run. The whole thing has a bit of Hades-style repetition mixed with MMO-like skill clutter. Kinda wild for a browser game, honestly.
Tips
Check salvaged parts before the next push because they can be used for new MEKs and upgrades
Try different Hardware and chips instead of keeping the same setup every run
Use auto-attack and target assistance if handling movement and skills at once gets messy
Controls
Virtual joystick to move on mobile
Touch buttons to use skills on mobile
