Primalisle io is a multiplayer survival and crafting game set on a prehistoric island. Gather what you need, build a camp, tame dinosaurs and try not to waste all your stamina swimming somewhere stupid.

How to play

You start with basic gathering. Pick berries, fiber and stones, hit trees for wood and make better tools as soon as you can. Survival adds hunger, healing and a rough map progression: coast and forest are fairly friendly, then grassland, swamp and mountains get harder, with the volcano sitting at the nasty end. Primalisle io feels closer to Jagar io than a simple arena game, except here dinosaurs become part of the plan.

Dinos can be knocked out, fed and tamed. Once one belongs to you, it can follow, stay or become a mount. Building matters too: beds, workbenches, campfires, chests and separate building pieces turn a random patch of land into something useful. Boxosaurus io has more direct dinosaur action; this one puts much more weight on gathering and keeping your stuff in order.

Tips

• Do not swim with an empty stamina bar
• Move inward through the biomes only after getting decent tools and food
• Keep berries and fiber ready for bandages
• Tame a dino before wandering too far from your camp
