Recarnate io is a multiplayer animal survival game set across three savanna regions. You begin as a tiny dunnart and work through 15 tiers, with hungry players and some pretty nasty plants around.
How to play
Food with a light green outline gives XP. At each new tier you choose a bigger animal; green rings mark animals you can eat, red rings mean it's time to move. Keep drinking at waterholes too. It's a little like Mope io, except the trees, termite mounds and even the grass matter more.
In Recarnate io, a meerkat can dig out of trouble while a cheetah can leap onto prey. Try a termite mound when you're strong enough, but its guards won't just watch. Or check out Roams io if you'd rather explore a simpler animal map.
Animal Tiers
There are 15 tiers to climb, starting with a tiny dunnart and ending with a dragon. Some tiers offer two animals with completely different abilities, so picking the bigger-looking one isn't always the best idea.
Tiers 1–4: Dunnart, Dwarf Mongoose or Pangolin, Meerkat, Aardvark
Tiers 13–15: Ostrich or Hippo, Giraffe or Elephant, Dragon
The choices get more interesting near the top. A hippo is fast in water, an ostrich builds speed on land, while the elephant can push opponents away with water. Reach tier 15 and your dragon can fly over obstacles, breathe fire and walk across lava. Getting there is another story.
Tips
Purple lava crickets give lots of XP, but can stun nearby animals
Climbing trees gives you a wider view, and their crowns can hide you from other players
