Retakes io is a browser-based multiplayer tactical FPS with short team rounds, fast gunfights and several modes built around aim, positioning and objectives.

How to play

In Retakes mode the round starts with the site already under pressure: one team has to get back in, clear the angles and defuse, while the other holds good positions and runs down the clock. Retakes io gets much easier once you stop staring at the floor and keep the crosshair where an opponent is likely to appear. Deathmatch is better for raw aim practice, Arms Race keeps changing your weapon, and Casual gives you regular team rounds.

Tips

• Walk with Shift when you want to hide your footsteps
• Do not rush the same doorway as the whole team
• Reload behind cover, not after every short burst
