TrapRush io is a multiplayer 2D platformer where players build traps, race to the flag and compete for points. The funny thing is that everyone has to get through the same obstacles they helped create.

How to play

Start by choosing a character and entering your name. You can create a private room, invite friends with a four-letter code or join a public game. Once everyone is ready, the rounds begin.

Each round of TrapRush io starts with a Party Box containing different items, including traps and platforms. Grab one before another player does, then place it somewhere on the map. You can build a useful shortcut or make life difficult for everyone else. Just remember that you will have to deal with those traps too!

After the building phase comes the race. Reach the flag before the timer runs out, using double jumps and wall jumps to cross gaps. Points come from reaching the flag, finishing first, catching opponents with your traps and making a comeback. If everyone reaches the flag, nobody scores. The first player to collect 120 points wins.

Tips

• Placing a trap on a busy route can earn you points when another player gets caught
• Use wall jumps to reach platforms that look too high
• Building an easier route can help your opponents as well
