WarCrown io is a multiplayer real-time strategy io game about building a city, expanding your borders and taking control of a huge map before your rivals do.

How to play

You start with a city and gradually cover nearby land with your buildings. Villages bring gold, barracks produce troops, while walls and towers make important areas harder to take. Units are selected by dragging over them and sent with a right click. They can capture enemy cities and clear buildings, so simply owning a large army isn't enough if it is sitting in the wrong place.

The map in WarCrown io also has sea routes. Build a port to trade, move troops over water and eventually send warships toward islands. The match ends when somebody controls 60% of the land, or after 45 minutes when the score decides it. Expanding everywhere at once looks tempting, but leaving a long border barely defended can get messy fast.

Tips

• Use villages for gold and barracks when you need more troops
• Protect exposed borders with walls and towers
• Ports can open routes to islands that are awkward to reach by land
