xFPS io is a free browser multiplayer FPS with quick online matches, private rooms, bot practice and plenty of modes, from team fights to Prop Hunt and Football.

How to play

In xFPS io you can use Quick Play to find a public match or create a private room and send the code to friends. Shooter modes include Team Deathmatch, Free-for-all, Search & Destroy, Domination and Gunfight. There is also Zombies, where a squad holds out through waves and spends earned points in the shop. Practice with bots is useful before jumping online, especially if the controls still feel new.

Search & Destroy plays differently from the faster modes: there is no respawn during the round, so running straight into the first fight is usually a bad trade. Prop Hunt goes even further and turns the FPS controls into a hide-and-seek mode with players disguised as objects.

• Use F to plant or defuse in Search & Destroy
• Open the Zombies shop with B between waves
