Destroyers io is an online multiplayer 2D naval action game viewed from above. You command a ship, score points against rivals and return to ports to improve it.

How to Play

Movement has some weight, so turning early matters more than trying to react at the last second. Attack other ships, dodge torpedoes and watch the radar instead of staring only at your own deck. A port is a non-combat zone: it restores your ship and lets you spend points on health, speed, manoeuvrability, reload and stealth.

Destroyers io also has a tech tree with more than 20 vessels. Progression changes the way your ship behaves, not just a number in the menu. Picking upgrades that fit how you play makes more sense than spreading points everywhere.

• Use ports to recover and spend upgrade points
