Nex War is a top-down browser MMORPG with skillshot combat, crafting and open PvE and PvP zones. Spells have to be aimed by hand, so good gear alone will not carry a bad fight.

How to play

There are no fixed classes here. Pick two of seven magic schools and make a build from five active or passive slots. Fire can pressure an area, Water controls movement, Holy supports allies, while other schools have their own tricks. Attacks, blocking and your dash share energy, so dumping the whole bar into damage is usually a pretty bad plan.

Nex War starts gently in the T1 zone where other players cannot attack you. Gather ore, wood, fiber and hides, refine them in town and craft better equipment. T2 switches PvP on and items carried in your bag can be lost. A heavy bag also slows movement, which makes that last bit of loot suddenly look less important.

Tips

• Learn enemy attack markers in T1 before heading into PvP
• Keep some energy for a dodge or block instead of spending everything on spells
• Travel light in T2 because carried items can be lost
• Join a group when gathering or fighting in risky areas
